We are dedicated to support the community of people who use drugs. PWUD are individuals who have the right to make decisions for themselves and should have a full and direct impact on shaping the policies that affect them. Their participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs and services can help ensure that the system takes a person-centered approach and better serves the needs of these individuals and their families. Full participation of the PWUD community is an essential part of good and effective program design.
Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of the community to enable influence, to find strategic allies among decision makers, and to promote collaboration within civil society to protect the rights of people who use drugs.Advocacy and political action is needed, as well as strategic campaigns that challenge stigma towards PWUD.
The Polish Network of People who Use Drugs ( PoliNPUD ) was established in 2020. We support the activities and initiatives of the Network.
